As I write this, I have 3 days to pack and prepare. I admit I'm pretty nervous, as well as excited. Art residencies offer a unique chance for artists to step away from daily distractions and focus on areas of inspiration, real looking. I hope my time at Chateau d'Orquevaux will be exactly that: a period of intense focus, discovery, and growth.
